New San Marco font

New San Marco by Jon Terzini

This is my font, modelled after the typeface found above the old pharmacy at San Marco Piazza. I kept the slanted crossbar on the A and also gave the letters M, N, W, Z broken stems to create diversity and interest. One characteristic I found about the type above the Pharmacy is that it is hand made so I put a definite emphasis on individual characters being slightly different from each other. I thought it would be fun to make the font san serif because the original has serifs.
